Cody Holbrook
I majored in Illustration and minored in animation at CCAD. During my time there, I worked to improve my skills in both but it wasn’t until after college that I found momentum and purpose for both. I spent my days as a laborer and construction worker and my nights trying to improve my skills with Adobe Aftereffects and Animate.
I spent a year doing this before I was hired by Media Machine as a storyboard artist. However, in my three years there I learned not only story boarding, but also design oriented illustration for print and animation, as well as skills in motion graphics, hand drawn animation, and the basics of Cinema 4D. Since then, I have continued to refine my skills in different studios and for different purposes and mediums. Most recently working with LinkedIn Learning to bring their lessons to life!
I am currently a freelancer based out of Austin, Texas. I have done work in many different styles and find part of the fun of illustration, design, and animation is trying to create work that fits with the brands and styles that my clients ask for.
